Carved by nature! - Sculpté par la Nature!

Coconuts naturally carved by the sea, from the Wallis Island in the Pacific Ocean ! Nature also produces amazing minerals strongly evoking various aspects of the coconut tree: quartz stalactites that look like coconut candies; geodes from Las Choyas in Mexico which are the exact shape and sometimes the colour of a coconut; coconut jasper whose colour mimics the brown shell and white flesh of coconuts; fossils of wood or roots of coconut trees or other palm trees that are used to make beautiful jewellery...

For illustrating this section, we can produce on request at least three large size HD posters (up to 180x100 cm in size). These posters will be adapted to each country, on a case-by-case basis, in order to prominently feature locally produced coconut products, and to promote the marketing of these local products. It is also possible to buy or rent items from the personal collection of Dr R. Bourdeix.

The first poster concerns the fossils of coconut trees and certain other palm trees. These fossils have great historical and botanical value. They sometimes have aesthetic properties that allow their use in jewelry.  Some fossilized palm woods or roots have colors and alternating layers that allow gem carvers to achieve wonders!

The second concerns minerals that evoke parts or products of the coconut palm, although they are not biologically related to the coconut palm or any other palm.
