The Global Strategy for Conservation and Use of Coconut Genetic Resources 2018-2028.

COGENT is the International Coconut Genetic Resources Network. Linked to the International Coconut Community (ICC), the network gathers representatives of national institutions from 39 coconut-producing countries, representing more than 98% of the global production COGENT aims to strengthen international collaboration in conservation and use of coconut genetic resources; to promote improving coconut production on a sustainable basis, and to boost livelihoods and incomes of coconut stakeholders in developing countries.

The 432 lines connect the contributors
 who have published together a chapter of the Strategy.

As shown in the picture up, developing this Global Strategy for Conservation and Use of Coconut Genetic Resources has provided an extraordinary tool for strengthening relationships between COGENT researchers, and between these researchers and other coconut stakeholders. Each section was co-authored by 2 to 5 contributors from all over the world. As shown in the picture, the Strategy created more than 400 opportunities to interact and co-publish between  contributors from all over the world.
