For illustrating this section, we can produce on request at least six large size HD poster (up to 180x100 cm in size). These posters should be adapted to each country, on a case-by-case basis, in order to prominently feature locally produced coconut products. It is also possible to buy or rent items from the personal collection of Dr R. Bourdeix.

The "beverage section" does not contains only beverages made from coconut water, but some other beverage like beers and coktails, tagged "coconut" by their producers...

Coconut water (also called coconut juice, but not coconut milk) is the clear liquid inside coconuts. In early development, it serves as a suspension for the growing of the kernel (endosperm) of the coconut. As growth continues, the endosperm matures into its cellular phase and deposits into the rind of the coconut pulp. The liquid inside young coconuts is sweeter, has a better nutritional value so it is often preferred for drinking to the liquid of a ripened coconut. Coconut water from mature coconut fruits has medicinal properties.

Coconut water contains 94% water and very little fat. It should not be confused with coconut milk, which is made by adding water to grated coconut meat. Coconut milk contains about 50% water and is quite high in fat.
