For illustrating this section, we can produce on request at least one large size HD poster (up to 180x100 cm in size). These posters should be adapted to each country, on a case-by-case basis, in order to prominently feature locally produced coconut products, and to promote the marketing of these local products.
It is also possible to buy or rent items from the personal collection of Dr R. Bourdeix.
A very important point is labelling. In case of research programs or coconut genebanks management, we strongly advice to use pre-numbered aluminium tags.
A recent program of collecting coconut varieties recently failed because the identity of seednuts was not well labeled, and the pedigrees of the seednuts were lost.
For palm labelling, fix the aluminium tags with 5 cm stainless nails to the stem of the coconut palms, preferably at 1.80 from the ground and on east side of the palm. Such a numbering system can last at least 20 years. Their price is about 100 USD for 1000 tags numbered from 1 to 1000.

The best prices we found are here, on http://www.cspforestry.com about 100 USD for 1000 tags without transportation. Be care than the same items are sometimes sold five to ten times more expensive by other suppliers. Please note that there is also a plastic version with barcodes, but more expensive and we don't know if this well apply to coconut stems.
